Washer Toss Family Fun!

Washer toss is a great game that was introduced to my family through friends. It has become very competitive these past few years and has brought the family together. What is great is the rules are easy and anyone can learn to play.

You earn washer toss points by throwing the washer into the two designated areas; the box or the cylinder inside the box. You earn one point for having a washer in the box and three points for having a washer in the middle cylinder (very similar to cornhole). Your washers in the box can be cancelled out by the other team’s washers in the box. The one important this to remember is a washer in the cylinder has to be cancelled out by an opponent’s washer in the cylinder. These rules are no more complicated than a game of cornhole and just as much fun.

As soon as my family stared dragging the washer toss set to every family outing we made it a ritual to play a tournament at least twice a year. We even proclaim the winners as the Martin’s Family Washer Toss king or queen (Cheesy I know). So, to join in on the fun I though it would be a good idea to purchase some washer toss trophies the champs could hold onto.

There is no better way to make a title holder feel proud, a washer toss trophy will do the trick no matter the age of the Victorians.

The game commonly known as cornhole is overtaking family reunions across the nation.
The only problem is everyone seams to play differently with their own styles and rules. In most situations this wouldn’t be an issue but because cornhole has become so competitive over the years rule changes are critical to cornhole players.

Keeping the rules fair are critical to keeping a family happy and their relationships healthy. So it’s best to go online and print the rules posted on the American Cornhole Association (ACA) website. That way no one is blamed for creating unfair or incorrect rules.

Also, ACA has created regulations for cornhole equipment so make sure everything has the standard dimensions, weights, and distances. The ACA is very serious about their rules and regulation and require an ACA seal of approval on all equipment used in any type of official gamming.

For family outings rules can bend; but at least the ACA creates good standards for the game and can help prevent any type of feuding when it comes to playing.

Whether you’re playing for fun or for a title be sure to order a cornhole trophy for the winning team or even the second place team. No mater the occasion every team deservers a trophy for their outstanding efforts and enjoyments.
