The kids who come through are always uniquely talented and often continue to do amazing things with their tennis careers. Our camp is unique it a way because we do not focus on the competition of the sport. We focus on the traditional “gentleman’s sport”. We award the high spirited campers, most improved, best motivators, and best sportsman like conduct. They are not your traditional awards so we have to get creative.

The campers are awarded with a unique tennis plaque, embellishment with a tennis design. We also send each and every camper home with a simple tennis trophy awarding them completion of the camp. Our campers love their tennis trophies and always carry them home with pride.

The girls ranged from ages nine to fourteen and were either first timers or exceptionally competitive. It brought back youth soccer memories and made me realize how important those years were.

While coaching at the camp I focused on being a leader and soccer confidant. They practice extremely hard, developed many new skills, and made me feel proud. I knew I couldn’t walk away after the week and not show them my appreciation.

I decided to purchase some individual soccer plaques with an engraving of an encouraging quote along with their names. I only hope they hold onto these plaques to remind them how important it is to have fun playing soccer and how it can shape you into an amazing person.

Because we all miss dad unconditionally we decided to put our money together and purchase him something he can treasure and help remimnd him how much we truly appreciate everything he has done for us.

We went with purchasing a plaque and getting an image engraved on it. The plaque looking very sleek yet personalized, ended up being a beautiful cheery wood that matched all the cherry furniture in the house. We engraved a beautiful scripture along with an illustration of our family crest to create the custom-made feel.

Although the gift was very simple and affordable the meaning and thought made it worth a million bucks.

Being a young mother comes with a lot of responsibilities. My little boy Gabriel is 6 years old and participated in his first soccer league this year! I couldn’t believe how well he did; he is definitely a natural born athlete! Of course all moms say that.

Being a full time, single parent and volunteering to provide concessions, uniforms, and trophies was a real delight and challenge to me. But through all of the stress and running around I was pleased to know Gabe had a great time. The kids accomplished 2nd place in the league because they played their little hearts out. What better way to say congratulations than to give each child a special trophy. I ended up getting the little rascals gold soccer bobble head trophies they could cherish and enjoy. The fun bouncy head and young demeanor was perfect for their playful personalities. Although the trophies were fun and playful they will be treasured trophies as well!

When it came time to present the trophies the kids went crazy! They talked amongst themselves about how cool the trophies were, how much they loved the bobbing heads, and each kid claimed the little resin figure looked like them. Everyone was overjoyed and thanked me for my enthusiasm by preseting me with a stylish soccer shadow box plaque along with electing me to do it all again next year.  I was thrilled!
